Making New Year's Resolutions

Many of us have made New Year's Resolutions that sounded great, but we just didn't follow through with them. When making your resolutions for '07, keep these points in mind:

1. Goals should be short term and attainable on a daily basis. My goal is to drink at least 8 glasses of water each day.

2. Reward yourself when you attain your goal. After I drink my 8 glasses of water, I can have a Diet Coke.

3. Write down your goal/resolution and post it in a visible place. One of my goals is to lose ten pounds, so I will post that goal on the refrigerator.
